Rather than augmenting space to accommodate the needs of disabled people, the goal of this project is to begin the design process from the needs and perspectives of those with first hand experiences of inaccessible urban space, situating the built environment as the source of disability. How would existing urban spaces differ if a disability was not seen as a disadvantage?
